Many of our cats were strays that got a 2nd chance. In fact, many strays (and ferals) had a home at one time, and were abandoned, abused, neglected and ended up on their own.
Our Save-A-Stray Program will enable people to borrow have-a-heart traps, and receive volunteer assistance with trapping if needed, assistance with spay-neuter, vaccinations and microchipping if needed, and rehoming assistance if needed.
This will be another step towards stopping the tragically high rate of euthanasia for unclaimed strays entering city and county shelters, especially if other rescues or shelters choose to implement this type of program.
Volunteer opportunities include:
Volunteers for calling to setup veterinary appointments and fundraising can be anywhere in the world!
Volunteers for foster, drop offs and pickups can be in New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New York.
